Tiny Bits Ltd ("we", "our", "us") built Math Basics as a commercial app. This Privacy Policy explains what information Math Basics handles, where it is stored, and what choices you have.

Math Basics is designed for parent or guardian managed use. Parents or guardians can create and manage player profiles using a local parent PIN.

Math Basics may store the following locally on your device:

  • Player profile names or nicknames that you enter
  • Optional profile photos that you choose from your photo library
  • Scores, progress, achievements, goals, and settings
  • Practice history and learning records, such as attempted problems, answers, and summary statistics
  • Parent PIN and license information stored locally on-device
  • Exported PDF or CSV reports, if you choose to generate them

This information is stored locally and is not sent to Tiny Bits Ltd.

Important: Profile names are free text. Please avoid entering sensitive information such as email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, or other identifying details. Exported reports may include profile names and performance data.

Information We Collect

Tiny Bits Ltd does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information from Math Basics. The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

We do not have access to your profiles, names, photos, practice history, scores, exports, or settings because they remain on your device unless you choose to share an exported file using iOS.

Apple Services and Network Access

Math Basics does not include custom accounts, cloud sync, or server backups operated by Tiny Bits Ltd.

The app may interact with Apple services for limited purposes, including:

  • Processing and restoring the one-time in-app purchase through Apple's StoreKit
  • Optional Apple diagnostics or device backup services, depending on your Apple and device settings

Exporting and Sharing Reports

Math Basics allows a parent or guardian to generate PDF and CSV reports locally on the device.

If you choose to share an exported file using email, messaging, AirDrop, the Files app, or a cloud storage provider, the file is sent only through the method you choose. Tiny Bits Ltd does not receive exported reports. The privacy practices of the destination app or service will apply once you share the file.

Profile Photos

If you choose a profile photo from your photo library, that photo is used only for the profile you select and is stored locally on your device. Tiny Bits Ltd does not upload or receive the photo.

Children's Privacy

Math Basics is designed for children with parent or guardian management features. We do not collect personal information from children or any other users through the app, and we do not use advertising or tracking.

Data Storage, Deletion, and Retention

All Math Basics data is stored locally on your device.

  • You can delete a player profile in the app, which permanently removes that profile's associated data from the device.
  • You can change or remove optional profile photos in the app.
  • You can delete exported PDF or CSV files from the app or service where you saved or shared them.
  • You can remove app data from your device by uninstalling the app, subject to your device backup settings.

If you enable device backups, Apple may include Math Basics data in those backups. This is controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by Tiny Bits Ltd.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Player names, optional profile photos, scores, and progress may be stored locally on the device if a parent or guardian enters or chooses them. This information stays on the device and is not transmitted to Tiny Bits Ltd. If a parent or guardian chooses to export or share a report, it is shared only through the method they select.

Third-Party Services

Math Basics does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services. The only external purchase service is Apple's StoreKit for processing and restoring the one-time in-app purchase, which is handled under Apple's own privacy policy.

Parental Rights

Since Tiny Bits Ltd does not collect personal information from children through the app, there is no child personal information held by Tiny Bits Ltd to review, modify, or delete.
